Haris Hadjicharalambous is the new director of the ND Press Office, as announced by Piraeus.
From 2019 to 2021, Mr. Hatzicharalambous served as the Director of Information and Communication at the Ministry of Health, while he had the role of coordinator of communication efforts for the COVID-19 pandemic and the National Immunization Plan.

Haris Hatzicharalambous was born in 1974 in Athens. He comes from Gythio and has Asia Minor roots from Sparta in Pisidia.
A regular member of ESIEA, he has worked as a journalist in newspapers and websites, while as a strategy and communication consultant he has participated in pre-election campaigns at national and regional level.
He served in positions of responsibility in the Public Sector, having served as General Manager at G.G. of Greek Expatriation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2008-2009).
He was also Director of the Information Directorate of the Ministry of National Defense (2011-2014), production manager of the Armed Forces show “With Virtue and Courage” of ERT and representative of the Ministry of National Defense in the Greek Presidency of the Council of the EU. (2014).
From 2019 to 2021, he was the Director of Information and Communication of the Ministry of Health, coordinator of the daily television briefing on the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic and the weekly television briefing on the National Vaccination Plan against the Covid-19 disease.
He has also served as a communications consultant at the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Tourism and at the Office of the Prime Minister at the Hellenic Parliament.
He holds a master’s degree from the Department of Economic and Regional Development of Panteion University, a graduate of the Department of Natural Resources Utilization and Agricultural Engineering of the Agricultural University of Athens and a member of the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece and the Economic Chamber of Greece.
During his undergraduate studies he was elected to the Central Council and the Central Secretariat of DAP-NDFK, as well as to the Central Council of EFEE (1995-1998).
He is married and father of one child.
