On the visit of the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoganin the attack on a police officer in Renti, in the water supply project carried out in flood-affected Thessaly, in the anti-corrosion works in Parnitha, Dervenochoria, Evros and Rhodes, in the fight against tax evasion but also in the “Christmas and Santa Claus” baskets, it was mentioned among among others, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in the established weekly report on government work.

Mr. Mitsotakis, in his post on Facebook, expresses his anger at the bloody episode in Renti, stressing: “I want to assure you that no matter how difficult it is to fight the so-called fan violence, we will continue the effort and the fight to win in this battle. No matter how high those who instigate it or even tolerate it are.”

“We owe it to the policeman who is fighting for his life, but also to Alkis, to Michalis, and to all the victims of fan violence. We owe it to the young kids who want a healthy sport, we owe it to society. And today, I want to ask you to say a prayer together for this young man who is fighting for his life. After all, the police officers are our children and they risk their lives every day for the safety of all of us”, added Mr. Mitsotakis.
