On the occasion of the 2 million euro fine imposed on Dixons company for misleading discounts, the secretary of the KPE of PASOK said: “Imagine what happens three years now in the market, when we see such distortions at the expense of the consumer. We have been shouting for so many years that the DIMEA, so that there is control in the market. It is unnatural that product prices are much higher in our country than the European average. The government has huge responsibilities for this market party. The Greek people have paid very dearly for its weakness and audacity.”

He emphasized that PASOK-Movement for Change has the solutions to these issues as “we see reality, we are not magicians” and repeated the proposals submitted by PASOK-KINAL which include the increase of the minimum wage, the reduction of VAT on basic products, private debt management with 120 installments and first home protection, immediate response to the housing issue by abolishing the golden visa.
