The opposition voted against the amendment for “ANAPLASI SA”
The multi-bill of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance “Organizational and procedural provisions for development, interventions to strengthen the just development transition and other urgent provisions” was approved by a majority. The ND was in favor of the principle of the bill. The opposition parties voted against it.
The regulation does not bring any change for credit managers, said the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis, referring to the amendment that was “blamed” by SYRIZA, as an amendment that leaves the borrowers completely defenseless to the servicers.
“Because Mr. Pappa you mentioned the provision for credit managers. You figured you’d find something in it. None of what you said is true. We cover a legal gap in the dates and nothing different is regulated,” said the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, shortly before the conclusion of the debate on the multi-bill.
Shortly before the end of the debate, the president of Freedom of Navigation, Zoe Konstantopoulou, had wished the government “good minds” in 2024, so that it does not come to the Parliament again in the new year, with “unconstitutional bills in which services are squeezed, with unconstitutional and scandalous amendments”. .
“It is good for all of us to take into account that society has problems and problems require solutions. It is not enough to just say words. We also have to solve problems, to deal with everyday life and this is why this bill is coming and that is why it has provisions from 13 ministries, in other words to provide solutions”, replied the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance.
Despite the cross-party reaction to the “panspermia of provisions”, Mr. Papathanasis insisted that the bill is “synonymous with good legislation”, since there was an organized discussion in both the competent committee and the Plenary. He cited the KEFIM survey to underline that the last-minute amendments have been reduced to “historically” low levels.
The Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance has stated that in 2024, the ministry will submit 20 bills to Parliament.
With the votes of the ND, the amendment to the bill of the Ministry of Finance for ANAPLASI S.A. was passed, while the opposition unanimously voted against it.
In the amendment, which included the increase in the salaries of non-parliamentary ministers, PASOK voted “present”.
