What the president of PASOK said about the Pulce poll that was shown on SKAI and puts PASOK in second place
The goal is for PASOK to become the strategic opponent of ND as there is an imbalance in the political system since the gap between the government and the opposition is large, he stressed the president of PASOK, Nikos Androulakis, speaking on the show “Today” on SKAI.
“For so many years the ND did not pay for its mistakes because we did not have a reliable choice”, he said and added that in this direction PASOK is being built with new faces, high competence and new positions so that in the next national elections there will be a significant superiority over the government. “The European elections are an important stepping stone for this goal,” he said characteristically.
Both at the European and national level, PASOK argued that it can play a leading role in the formation of a front against the ND. “The development that Mr. Mitsotakis plans brings quality is for very few and difficult days for the majority of the Greek people,” he said.
Mr. Androulakis also underlined that if the ND has a strong opponent and not just one “golden sponsor like SYRIZA” he will stop having this arrogance” adding: “It will not be possible for the nephew to be the mayor of Athens in Anaplasi SA and as soon as Haris Doukas is elected everything will change and the state will take everything”.
Note how projects of 45 million euros are foreseen in the Municipality of Athens alone while the reason why “Anaplasi SA” changed “hands” is “because Mitsotakis has the wrong culture, deeply centralized. He does not respect the Self-Government, because he proceeded with this arrangement before the new municipal authorities were sworn in.”
In fact, he said that spending on health, education and housing costs should fall. “Stop acting like real estate, abolish the golden visa”. The president of PASOK pointed out that there is no house in the center that has not been sold while rents have skyrocketed. “Ireland, Portugal and Spain have abolished the golden visa, I will start a campaign for its abolition”, he noted and added that he will propose the same with “apartment hotels”.
For the postal vote, he noted that he said yes to facilitate voters who live far from their place.
For non-state universities he said that PASOK will not get in the way with specific criteria.
