The visit of the American Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Greece, the State Department officially announced on Thursday.

Anthony Blinken’s visit was confirmed by the representative of the State Department Matthew Miller during the press briefing.

The press representative of the State Department announced that the American Foreign Minister will visit our country after his visit to Turkey.

“Later today Secretary Blinken will travel on his 4th trip to the Middle East since the October 7th terrorist attacks, as well as his stops in Europe. During the next week, the minister will visit Turkey, Greece, Jordan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Israel, the West Bank and Egypt for meetings with his foreign counterparts and others,” he said among of others the American official.

Mr. Blinken is expected, according to ERT, to meet, on Saturday afternoon, in Chania with the prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakiswhile on the agenda will be the developments in the Middle East as well as Athens’ interest in the American F-35 fighters.
