Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will preside over a meeting to take measures against punctuality today at 10 am, at Megaro Maximos. Then the Minister of Development Kostas Skrekas will give a press conference on the specialization of the measures aimed at reducing the prices of basic consumer products.

The government and especially the prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, have placed the issue of accuracy at the top of the agenda. The preparatory work has already been done in the previous period and tomorrow, Wednesday, announcements are expected with specific measures to reduce prices.

According to the report, the measures to be announced will aim to reduce prices by a sufficient percentage to act as a cushion for household disposable income.

According to the same sources, the measures to be announced by the government include baby milkthe diapersthe detergentsthe cleaners and the toothpastes.

Also added to the list fruits and vegetablesin order to check the price path, i.e. at what price it starts from the producer and at what price it ends up on the store shelves.

The government’s goal is not just one gentlemen’s agreement with multinational companiesbut the general regulatory framework, so that there is a significant reduction in the pressure on the income of the average family in Greece.
