The immediate convening of the Committee on Institutions and Transparency, as the competent committee for the parliamentary control of the E.Y.P., is requested by the PASOK in order – as emphasized in the relevant request submitted by the three MPs participating in it – “to further investigate the case of the filing of the disciplinary prosecution of the supervising E.Y.P. prosecutor Mrs. V. Vlachou”, during the specific period of time.

The deputies Evangelia Liakoulis, Panagiotis Doudonis and Dimitrios Biagis, who sign the request to the chairman of the Committee, Athanasios Boura, also request the immediate submission by the Committee of Institutions and Transparency of a request for the transmission of the decision to archive the relevant Disciplinary Prosecution, the exculpatory recommendation of the current Prosecutor for the E.Y.P. , Mrs. Ev. Poulos, as well as any other relevant document, “in order to clarify the reasons that led to the discharge and, in particular, the way to establish compliance with the law on lifting the confidentiality of communications in the exercise of her duties”.

Finally, they request the summons before the Committee of the competent Vice-President of the Supreme Court, Mrs. E. Fragakis, by whose decision the relevant Disciplinary Prosecution was filed, as well as the current prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Mrs. Ev. Poulos, who suggested the filing of the above Disciplinary Prosecution.
