“How institutional behavior is the exhortation to abstain, and while he hesitates to impose party discipline even on his Ministers, to ask for it from the opposition parties?”, says PASOK in its statement
PASOK launched an attack on Kyriakos Mitsotakis, commenting on the prime minister’s interview on the state channel. With its announcement, PASOK speaks of the “arrogance” of Kyriakos Mitsotakis and declares that “we do not accept human rights courses”.
PASOK’s announcement in more detail:
“We do not accept human rights lessons from Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Prime Minister of wiretapping, the degradation of institutions, interventions in justice and late-night raids by independent authorities.
Let him not judge other people’s actions by himself, when he talks about the instrumentalization of human rights.
We want to remind him, because we are not all Lotus-eaters, that all PASOK MPs voted for the cohabitation agreement, while only 19 out of 75 of New Democracy voted for it.
In fact, the Prime Minister, steeped in arrogance, belittled simple logic today.
How much institutional behavior is the exhortation to abstain, and while he hesitates to impose party discipline even on his Ministers, to request it from the opposition parties?
That is, quite simply, he urges them not to appear in Parliament that day because some others will be taking their… days off.
As for the big issue of punctuality, which affects every household, with purchasing power plummeting, rents constantly rising, food prices rising by 25% and basic goods like baby milk being sold up to and 213% more expensive than other European countries, he continues to behave as a simple commentator.
Today he even discovered after two and a half years, that we are shouting, the inflation of greed as well as that the multinationals are profiting shamefully at the expense of the Greek people, while any fines imposed have been dramatically too late”.
Creiton is being called silent.
