The government has decided to involve our country in the conflict in the Red Sea with the Navy Frigate mission, the New Left points out in a statement
Greek citizens were informed by an interview of Mr. Dendias that the government decided to involve our country in the conflict in the Red Sea by sending a Navy Frigate“, the New Left points out in its announcement and adds:
“Today, we are informed that one after the other PN officials refuse to staff the Frigate “HYDRA” which is about to sail into the Red Sea. This is an act of protest against the working and wage conditions in a dangerous mission, as they themselves complain.”
The New Left calls on the government “not to involve our country and the officers of the Navy in an operation in a war zone, which is not under the auspices of international organizations or the European Union” while the Minister of National Defense “to immediately inform the competent committee of Foreign Affairs and Defense about the intentions and plans in relation to Greece’s participation in the conflict in the Red Sea, which is also requested by the officials of the PN”.
