Next week, Monday or Tuesday will open the platform for requests for additional assistance which the Prime Minister announced yesterday, Tuesday, he reported on his radio the Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Christos Triandopoulos.

Mr. Triandopoulos pointed out that what the Prime Minister announced yesterday it is essentially a second circle, in which farmers and ranchers, they should enter the platform which will open and review their application.

The deputy minister clarified that in cases where there is very serious damage, the farmer can apply through the platform that will open next week to get up to an additional 10,000 euros as first aid.

As with first aid, payments of money will be made on a weekly basis, once or twice.

Mr. Triandopoulos also mentioned that “from the time someone makes the application to the time they see the money in their account, it takes from one week to 10 days”.

The goal is, as he pointed out, all of them applications to be completed by February, adding that by the end of the process, farmers and businesses will have received 70% of the damage they suffered.
