G.Vroutsis accepted the amendment tabled yesterday by the official opposition party

Its establishment February 1st as “Panhellenic Fan Dayannounced from the seats of the Parliament, the Deputy Minister of Sports, Yannis Vroutsisduring the second day of debate in the plenary session, of the bill on dealing with fan violence.
The deputy minister accepted the amendment, which the official opposition party submitted yesterday, with Yannis Vroutsis stating that today “is the last day that Alkis Kampanos fell dead. That’s why I think that we can establish this day as ‘Panhellenic Fan Day'”.
“As a parliament and as a political system we pay tribute to the family of the deceased”stressed SYRIZA MP, Theofilos Xanthopoulos, with PASOK’s parliamentary representative, Dimitris Manzos stressing that “it should be a springboard for dialogue”, adding that “we must speak with courage about sports violence”.
The amendment is expected to be voted on todayas it has been included in the bill of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports for the dealing with violence in sporting events.
