Today, World Childhood Cancer Day, we strive for the cure and better survival of all children.
The education of specialists and parents for the early detection and diagnosis of childhood cancer, as well as the access of families throughout Greece to specialized care and a parallel, public family support system, remains our priority in this fight.
The progress that has been made, both in the diagnosis and in the care of childhood cancer, has brought significant improvements in the survival rates in Europe and in our country. The introduction of innovative treatments with new drugs are the weapons of the global medical community for better survival of children with cancer. Ensuring access to personalized treatment protocols with precision medicine is already revolutionizing its treatment in adults, adolescents and children.
