Them signatures required to submit a roll call motion for the same-sex marriage equality bill collected WIN and SPARTANS.

The two parties are expected to submit the relevant request to the plenary tomorrow morning, at the start of the two-day process, as they collected a total of 21 signatures, with the proposal requiring at least 15 in order to be submitted. Last week, Kyriakos Velopoulos opened the debate on the proposal for a roll-call vote on the disputed bill, calling on all parties opposed to the marriage of same-sex couples to sign a joint petition.

After the fierce confrontation in the plenary, between Dimitris Natsios and Constantinos Chitas from the Hellenic Solution, the Spartans picked up the gauntlet thrown to them by the Victory party and proceeded with the necessary actions in order to have the text of the roll call vote ready, but without the signatures of the Greek Solution.

The request includes a total of 21 signatures, of the 10 Niki MPs, the 10 Spartans and that of the independent MP Konstantinos Floros. The text calls for a roll-call vote on the principle and all the articles of the bill with the first signature being that of Mr. Dimitris Natsios and the second that of Vassilis Stigas.
