Surprised and shocked they declare executives of SYRIZA after the letter sent by Stefanos Kasselakis to the Political Secretariat in which moves on to the counterattack for the iSYRIZA questionnaire.

“Essentially, the president is in opposition the supreme governing body” the members of the PG found.

It is noted that 17 top executives of SYRIZA asked for explanations from Mr. Kasselakis about the questionnaire to the members of the party in which raised identity issues such as logo and ideological identity.

It seems that there will be a decision from the PG, a text, on how they will move from here on. The information speaks of two propositions.

One, which seems to be the majority, is the convocation of the Central Committee of SYRIZA. 75 signatures are required, 25% of the 300-member body, and they appear to have been collected. Possibly to have the script of the censure proposal in order to request the convocation.

The second proposal, submitted by a member, is even to postpone the conference for a month.

Mr. Kasselakis announced his decision not to participate in the meeting of the General Assembly via teleconference (he is in London), due to scheduled commitments, in a letter to the body (read the letter in detail).

The SYRIZA president makes it clear that he is sticking to the tactics he followed with the iSYRIZA questionnaire.

“It is possible to be afraid to ask our members, especially after two electoral defeats that revealed a deep deficit of grounding with society? (…) Should we all – and the President first – finally learn to listen? How much longer do we ignore our members and society?” he wonders.

“Why was there never a request to convene the Political Secretariat for the farmers and for the students who are on the streets, for the medicines that all citizens will pay for out of their own pockets with Adonis Georgiadis’s merciless decisions, for Mr. Floridis’ draft law that turns our criminal system back seventy years , for the punctuality campaign that has not yet started, for the housing campaign and a bunch of other problems that concern society, which the government of Mr. Mitsotakis ostentatiously ignores?” he adds.

“Political Secretariat for the opinion questionnaire? For everyone’s intra-party influence in a party that has proven to be non-governmental and must respond to the needs of society, which is suffering and sees no way out or hope.”

“Stop chasing chimeras, feeding conspiracy theories that I will allegedly build I.X. party, because we are letting our people down. I.X. a party that listens to its members does not exist. I.X. it is the party that wants its members to applaud in defeat” notes Mr. Kasselakis.
