Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with a delegation of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
During the meeting, perspectives and ways to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation were discussed. Special emphasis was placed on planning for the establishment of a Greek-Indian Chamber of Commerce. For this purpose, after all, in the next period of time, a business delegation of the Confederation of Indian Industry will visit Athens.

The Prime Minister made special reference to the importance of IMEC, the India-Middle East-Europe corridor and the role that Greece can play, as a hub of this important trade corridor, but also as an honest interlocutor of the countries of the region.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis also spoke about the initiatives undertaken by Greece for the diversification of energy sources and connectivity, the Vertical Corridor, as well as about renewable energy sources.
The Greek Ambassador to New Delhi Aliki Koutsomitopoulou, the Head of the Economic Office of the Prime Minister Alexis Patelis and the Special Advisor for International Policy and Public Diplomacy to the Prime Minister Aristotelia Pelonis participated in the meeting.
From the Indian side, R. Dinesh (President CII, Chairman, TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited), Chandrajit Banerjee (General Manager CII), Baba Kalyani (Chairman and Managing Director, Bharat Forge Limited), Srinivas Bommidala (Chairman, International Airports) participated GMR Group), Sunjay Kapur (Chairman CII Europe, Chairman, Sona Comstar), Vikram Shroff (Vice-Chairman and Co-CEO, UPL Ltd.), Uday Khemka (Vice Chairman, SUN Group).
The Prime Minister was then given a tour of the New Delhi airport, which is managed by GMR, which is building the new airport at Kastelli.
