He blamed a backlash regarding non-state universities PASOK and Nikos Androulakis by Makis Voridis speaking to SKAI and the Misfits.

“It says “yes, no, maybe but”… Put it on a clear question: Greek women go to private universities in Europe and around the world, get degrees, come with their degrees here and are fully recognized with full professional rights … What is Androulakis telling us and sympathizers on the Left that young people should go to Brussels, Nicosia, Sofia, but in Athens not to go to branches of foreign universities in Greece? Is there any logic to this?’ asked the Minister of State.

“They can come legally operating HEIs in EU countries that will set up branches here. This is what the law says,” he clarified.

Instead of making characterizations to position himself clearly, he mentioned about Mr. Androulakis.

“I wish them every success, to continue on this good path” the minister also stated about what is happening in SYRIZA.

“There is no room for him to move voter to the right of the ND if he makes the right weightings. Obviously we had a disagreement (same-sex couples), but on the other hand we also have 100 things that we agree on, they are extremely important, which it is good to support and defend and this government is implementing them,” stressed Mr. Voridis.
