New post by Stefanos Kasselakis about Tempi after the Prime Minister’s message
He proceeded to a new post the president of SYRIZA-PS, Stefanos Kasselakis after the message of the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the one year since the train accident in Tempi.
Mr. Kasselakis attacks the Prime Minister accusing him of choosing this day of remembrance “to actually announce the commission’s conclusion on Tempe” and calls him “at least for today, for this black anniversary day, to respect the pain of the families.”
Stefanos Kasselakis’ post in detail
“Mr. Mitsotakis found this tragic day, when Greece mourns 57 people lost in the crime of Tempi, to actually announce the conclusion of the committee on Tempi.
Insists. He claims that it was not his fault, nor anyone from his government.
“Parliament examined dozens of witnesses with hundreds of pieces of evidence, investigating how human errors met fatally with the eternal gaps of the state,” as he announced, with too much audacity.
Intervening and discounting the outcome of a process, which for the government had only one goal: How to cover up the criminal responsibilities of Karamanlis and its executives.
But the crime occurred because of the complete lack of safety valves in the operation of the railways as a result of their abandonment by the government of the New Democracy.
I call on him, at least for today, for this day of the black anniversary, to respect the pain of the families. Don’t provoke them. To finally respect the 57 dead. To respect the pain and realize the anger of the whole society.
I have promised that I will not take a step back. I will be with the families of the victims until the end. Until justice is served. Real justice against the veil of concealment that Mr. Mitsotakis wants to impose.”
