SYRIZA addresses burning questions that were not answered by the prime minister in its statement, commenting on today’s interview of Kyriakos Mitsotakis with SKAI.

In particular, SYRIZA reports that the prime minister appeared as a simple observer who is simply following the developments surrounding the Tempe tragedy.

The SYRIZA announcement in detail:

“The prime minister appeared today as a simple observer of the events who naively follows the developments surrounding the tragedy in Tempi. He said nothing about the conclusion of the ND that speaks only of human errors, he did not give any answer to the burning questions that have arisen and are related to the omissions of his government, but also the attempt to cover up a crime. He simply limited himself to commenting that he too wants to know the truth.

In fact, today Mr. Mitsotakis tried to fool not only the truth but also our very logic.

It is interesting, however, that the prime minister left the minister of the interior, Mr. Kerameos, uncovered in relation to the leak of the personal data of Greeks abroad, as he admitted that there are questions that must be answered by both Mrs. Asimakopoulou and the ministry itself. In addition, he said that “we are also doing our own investigation”, implying that Maximou is also investigating what happened at the Ministry of the Interior. Is it true that Mr. Mitsotakis still trusts his minister after this admission?

In the same interview, he put a “tombstone” on the prospect of an extraordinary Easter allowance, although earlier he had acknowledged that there are families who cannot cope with the wave of punctuality. In essence, it has become clear that the people have nothing to expect from a government that by imposing high indirect taxes – VAT receipts increased by 40% from 2021 to 2023 – does not allow households and businesses to breathe. And if he really believes that the solution is 780 euros, at which the minimum wage is today to reach 800, then he proves once again that he does not have the slightest touch with reality.

Really, what did the prime minister mean by saying that the ND used to be at odds with PASOK? That there are now points of convergence or even political identification?
