Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias described the meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov as “of great importance”, starting their talks.

“I look forward to an extensive discussion on ways to further develop our bilateral relations, especially after Prime Minister Mitsotakis’s meeting with President Putin last December. “I think there is an important bilateral agenda, which we can promote in our meeting today,” said the Greek Foreign Minister in his statements.
