The president of SYRIZA-PS, Stefanos Kasselakis, presented himself at the Thebes camp yesterday afternoon, to serve out his short military service.

A little later, while he had already entered the camp, his colleagues uploaded on his Instagram account a humorous video of the recruit’s final preparations before entering the camp.

In the video, Stefanos Kasselakis is seen preparing his suitcase, with the necessary clothes and personal hygiene items: “Military woolen socks, check. They told me to get toilet paper too. Well, doesn’t the army have toilet paper???” he wonders.

He also called his mother, who advised him to take a jacket so he wouldn’t catch a cold.

He presents all the “accessories” he procured to take with him to be “predictable”, as the soldiers say.

@skasselakis Don’t worry I have partners, I’m an army! #fyp ♬ original sound – Stefanos Kasselakis

During his route to the camp he mentions that he honors the Armed Forces and that now the Greeks can sleep peacefully.
