Ms. Michailidou referring to the platform for working pensioners stated that 3 weeks ago there were 36,000 working pensioners and today 44,000 have already been registered on the platform
“Last Friday we received the final recommendation from KEPE, which recommends a 4-5% increase in the minimum wage,” Labor Minister Domna Michaelidou told SKAI 100.3.
In particular, the Minister of Labor noted that the ministry, taking into account the recommendation of KEPE, this week he will make his own submission so that next Wednesday there will be a cabinet decision on the new minimum wage
The goal, he added, is to increase wages as a whole in Greece. Ms. Michailidou emphasized that “in the last 4 years, wages in our country have risen more than inflation, something that the European average has not been able to do.” Afterwards, however, he explained that “we have started from a lower position compared to other European countries, that’s why the increase is greater”
Mrs. Michailidou referring to the platform for working pensioners stated that 3 weeks ago, i.e. before the platform was put into operation, there were 36,000 working pensioners and today 44,000 have already been registered on the platform and she estimated that these numbers will increase.
