“Greece practices a principled foreign policy, based on International Law” pointed out the Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Gerapetritis speaking Thursday to graduate students at Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Boston

The Minister of Foreign Affairs spoke to the students on an educational visit to Greece about the functioning of the Greek state and Greek foreign policy, and then discussed with them current issues of European and international politics, highlighting, among other things, the active role played by Greece in the European Union and its strategic relations with the USA.

Answering questions from the students, the Minister of Foreign Affairs finally referred to the challenges of global governance and decision-making processes in international organizations and the European Union, as well as the diversification strategy followed by Greece in terms of its participation in international energy interconnections and collateral-driven global trade corridors such as IMEC multiple options in the energy and financial field.
