“The Prime Minister has said that at the end of the four years the minimum wage will be 950 euros and the average wage will be 1500 euros. Now the first step is being taken. Now the floor will be over 800 euros and will continue to rise. All this is related to the good course of the economy”, the Director of the Press Office of the Prime Minister, Dimitris Tsiodras, said to SKAI and to the show “Kalimera” with George Autias.

Referring to the European elections, Mr. Tsiodras noted that “in the elections it is decided how Greece will be represented in the EU”, pointing out that “one of the most important issues is security”.

As he pointed out, in the E.U. “common European defense is being discussed and whether some steps should be taken. Kyriakos Mitsotakis proposed the creation of a Eurobond in order to finance the EU’s defense needs, which would also benefit Greece. It may be in the early stages of the conversation, but this will be the subject of a very long discussion later. I think we should fight it at the European level. Europe must acquire its strategic autonomy”.

“The common agricultural policy needs a review,” he added.
