“Frontal collision SYRIZA and PASOK in the shadow of the European elections and with the aim of “conquering” second place.

Speaking to Alpha, the president of PASOK Nikos Androulakis he emphasized, among other things, that “it bothers SYRIZA that we got an ND MEP on our ballot. At the same time that they transferred their own leader from New Democracy” meaning Mr. Kasselakis himself.

Also, referring to the president of SYRIZA who proposed elections with international observers, he noted that he “said a slur and picked it up immediately” to add: “His lifestyle policy is a gift to the government of Mr. Mitsotakis.” According to Mr. Androulakis, “the result of June 9 is what will force the government to change its policy. That is, the powerful PASOK”.

It will be a mistake, said Mr. Androulakis, to vote for parties that are parking lots for Mr. Mitsotakis. The government needs an opposition that can push in the right direction, as we have done at every opportunity.

Answering, Mr SYRIZA notes that Mr. Androulakis tried to appear as the main opponent of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, but his lionizations are empty words. He accuses the president of PASOK of turning his back on the government and ends by wishing Mr. Androulakis to continue dreaming of second place.

The announcement of SYRIZA:

“In his interview with the Alpha news bulletin, the president of PASOK tried to present himself as the main opponent of Kyriakos Mitsotakis. His words, however, revealed that the lionizations about “tough opposition” are nothing more than empty words.

And this is because Mr. Androulakis, at the same time that he characterized the Mitsotakis government as untrustworthy and the prime minister himself as an underminer of the rule of law, it appeared that he finally trusts her to hold fair elections. We are talking about the government that has turned the personal data of overseas voters into a field for election propaganda, apart from everything else.

And while the leader of PASOK tried to portray himself as the only opponent of Mr. Mitsotakis, throwing mud at the president of SYRIZA-PS, he came to the inimitable conclusion: that there is no need for early elections because the result of the European elections will force Mr. Mitsotakis to change his policy !

It’s now obvious who’s back in the SW. Otherwise, we wish Mr. Androulakis to continue his dreams for second place. It’s a joke, after all.”
