In a climate of tension, due to the Turkish provocation, the 64th round of exploratory contacts is taking place today in Athens.

The two sides, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed satisfaction with the progress made in specific issues and in particular in the opening of negotiations for the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between Enterprise Greece and the respective Turkish institution Invest in Turkey, in mutual recognition vaccination certificates against covid-19, the progress of the Joint Committee on Tourism and the reactivation of the Joint Economic Committee.

During the meeting, the trade and business relations of the two countries, the prospects of cooperation in the fields of transport and telecommunications, as well as the strengthening of cooperation in addressing environmental challenges were also discussed.
