Konstantinos Floros in his memorandum states that he was provoked by the Hellenic Solution MP as he insulted him while denying that he punched him
“This is essentially a personal conflict, following the extremely abusive behavior of my colleague Mr. Grammenos at the expense of my mother as well as me, without the slightest political background or expediency and without, of course, under any circumstances intending to prevent him from exercising his parliamentary duties”.
This states among other things in a memorandum that he handed over to the investigator, the independent MP (elected with the “Spartians”) Konstantinos Floros, to refute the charge of violence against the Hellenic Solution MP, Vassilis Grammenos, during the exercise of his duties, which has been brought against him after yesterday’s episode in the Parliament. Mr. Floros was released after his apology, on the condition that he does not come closer than 50 meters to Mr. Grammenos.
In the multi-page memorandum he submittedand Mr. Floros, states that he was strongly provoked by the member of the Hellenic Solution, Vassilis Grammenos, while emphasizing that he did not punch him. As he claims, Mr. Grammenos was the one who started a verbal attack against him: “Mr. Grammenos addressed my face, calling me ‘trash’ and yelling at me to shut it up. Then I replied to him “‘Hey don’t talk… “, and he unleashed a barrage of insults, mentioning verbatim: “Your mother.” And while leaving the room, he continued: “Your mother will… I will take you with the bracelets. You will remember that Pi..”. I obviously lost my temper, and followed Mr. Grammenos out of the courtroom, where he continued the insults, threats, and the same belligerent behavior, not only at my expense, but also at the expense of the police witness who appeared.”
The accused MP also states:
“Both of us, always according to the police witness, were trying to push each other away, while he states that my only action was to try to grab Mr. Grammenos by the nose, with him eventually falling down. Therefore, I never hit him in the face, as he falsely states in his testimony, I never punched him as is falsely reported, nothing further than the above ever took place.”
It should be noted that for his part, the victim of the case file, Member of Parliament Vassilis Grammenos, has claimed in his statements that he said absolutely nothing to Mr. Floros and that he was punched by the defendant, resulting in his injuries.
