Kaselakis: “Let’s enjoy the Final Four – Proud to be captain of this team”

Ahead of the semi-final with Tenerife (26/04, 19:00), the leader of the western suburbs team, Leonidas Kaselakisreferred to the great run of Peristeri bwin up to this stage of the event and expressed his pride.

In detail what he said:

“It’s a great moment for all of us, a great achievement to be here. We believed in the team that we would get here even when we were 0-3 in the Top-16 against very good teams like Tenerife. We faced the difficulties and responded, we showed character and we want to play hard and enjoy the Final Four.”

For the game that changed their “chip”: “The victory over Karsigiaka at home was very important because it gave us confidence going forward. We were in a difficult situation, we needed a combination of results. We tried hard and in the end we succeeded and I am proud of all our effort.”

For Spanoulis: “He has experience and the mentality of a winner. It brings us the little details and important information about each game. We’ve had a lot of life and death games this season and it’s generally close to the players. He wants to take the pressure off us and he knows very well how to do it. He is a coach who knows the games in the Final Four better than anyone.”

For his own role because of his experience: “I don’t think my teammates need guidance from me. As a group we work very well. We had some discussions when things weren’t going well for us and especially at the beginning of the season. I think in the end I took more things from my teammates than I gave them. I am proud to be the captain of the team.”
