The SYRIZA PS will request the establishment of a preliminary investigation committee for Christos Triantopoulos, Michalis Papadopoulos, Thanos Plevris and Zoi Raptis regarding the “tampering of Tempos”.

And this, immediately after the transmission of the relevant case file to the Parliament by the Prosecutor of Appeals of Larisa.

SYRIZA in its statement states that it “asks Kyriakos Mitsotakis and New Democracy to open the way to justice and not to attempt to cover up the responsibilities of their ministers once again.”

It is recalled that yesterday it became known that the Deputy Prosecutor for Appeals of Larisa, Katerina Matsi, decided to accept the appeal of P. Aslanidis – father of the Tembo victim – against the rejection decision of the First Instance Prosecutor. Thus, it will forward the appeal to the Supreme Court which will then go to the Parliament, based on the law on the responsibility of ministers, in order to investigate any responsibilities of politicians.

At the same time, the Deputy Prosecutor also ordered a new preliminary examination for breach of duty or abetting a criminal, as well as for the issue of the mobbing in Tempi and whether important data for the investigation of the accident was lost. Among other things, he gave a deadline of 20 days to investigate who gave the order for the digging, as well as who gave the order for the removal of soil and other materials from the accident site.
