In his statements to the media, N. Androulakis referred to the new incident with the break-in at the office of the director of elections of the Ministry of the Interior.
Amfilochia was visited at noon on Sunday by the president of PASOK-Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakis, completing his three-day tour in prefectures of Epirus and Western Greece.
Mr. Androulakis met with the mayor of Amfilochia, Sakis Torunidis, and then talked with residents.
In his statements to the media, Mr. Androulakis referred to the new incident with the break-in at the office of the director of elections of the Ministry of the Interior.
“New Democracy is subversive. Shortly before the European elections, we learned that there was a break-in at the office of the Director of Elections of the Ministry of the Interior, and the announcement of the ministry speaks of an “alleged break-in”.
A few weeks ago, we had a new incident, which New Democracy and Mrs. Kerameos were covering up. Thousands of secret foreign voter details had been funneled through New Democracy’s Expatriate secretary to New Democracy MEPs in order to have a comparative advantage. Something that is illegal.
Today I ask Mr. Mitsotakis to tell us clearly what is happening at the Ministry of the Interior. It is unthinkable, a few weeks before the European elections, to have ongoing cases that damage the prestige of the state and the confidence of citizens in the electoral process. Immediate clear answers to both of these shocking incidents” concluded Mr. Androulakis.
