“Beneficial” characterized the tour of Stefanos Kasselakis in the Aegean, when asked about it, the press representative of SYRIZA, Voula Kehagia, on the program “Today” on SKAI, while stating that “the message she wanted to convey is that the problems of the islanders are being listened to and that is close to them”.

Responding to the criticism of the measures announced by the president of SYRIZA, Ms. Kehagia stated that “the government wants to reduce the tour of Mr. Kasselakis. Residents have two years to get the transport equivalent, which is a strengthening measure, we have announced measures for doctors as well. There are measures that were tabled in an amendment that the government rejected.”

Regarding the statements of Mr. Kasselakis that would like to serve two terms as prime minister despite low polls, the SYRIZA spokeswoman said that she “answered a question, obviously the president also has a timetable”

Regarding the objective of the European elections, Ms. Kehagia emphasized that “the political parties will be measured according to the results of the last national elections. We say that we will be measured based on the percentages of the national elections and not those of the previous European elections”, while when asked about the bar set by the official opposition party, she noted that “we will not fall below 17%”.

When asked if SYRIZA falls below 17%, he said “I don’t believe we will fall below that threshold, but if it happens it will not be a disaster, but we will have to intensify our efforts towards the government”.

“If the ND gets 33%, it is 8 points below the percentage of the national elections. We want, and this is the goal, to cause such trauma in ND that recourse to the polls is inevitable,” added Ms. Kehagia.
