The president of SYRIZA-PS expressed Athens’ support for the entire Greek minority in Albania and asked for the vote of the Greek minority in the European elections.

Stefanos Kasselakison his visit to Dropolis and the Bouliaratesexpressed Athens’ support to the entire Greek minority in Albania and asked for the vote of the Greek minority in Albania for his party’s candidates, for the European elections.
He added that he became familiar with the problems of the minorities in the region, stressing that he will stand close to its residents.
“We are here in Dropoli, next to the Greek ethnic minority to express our unconditional support. For us it is a deeply national issue and I am the son of a minority and I know very well what it means to be Greek outside of Greece, moreover, here we are talking about a minority community that has many needs for political support”, said Mr. Kasselakis.
Although he did not include it on the agenda of his visit, the SYRIZA president said about Himara:
“I wanted to add to the compatriot Greeks here in the minority municipalities and in Himara that we will not forget you. Listening to the problems and visiting periodically is our obligation as a society to you,” he said.
