The Deputy Minister of Digital Governance referred to the new possibility for citizens to declare and register their properties electronically in the Land Registry. Konstantinos Kyranakisspeaking on the “Mismatches” show of SKAI about the new digital portal maps.ktimatologio.gr, which is implemented from today, Thursday 16/5.

Initially, Mr. Kyranakis pointed out the possibility to see through the specific application the cadastral map and the boundaries regardless of the cadastral phase, as well as the archaeological cadastre, the optical fiber map, the TEE map, while adding that in 2025 Greece will has Land Registry at 100%.

“This creates legal certainty, transparency, and we will also release a tool for pricing index, that is, pricing situation by region and date, which means capturing the actual transaction price. In other words, you will be able to see in your area how much a similar property is being sold in your area at real prices and not based on advertisements”, underlined the deputy minister.

“This is important because the ads are creating a so-called ‘bubble’ in some areas. In this way, the tax authorities will also be helped to identify possible hotbeds of tax evasion”.

“Yesterday we submitted to the Parliament provisions for the radio stations that receive Turkish interference in Evros and Upper Aegean”

Afterwards, Mr. Kyranakis made a special reference to the radio frequencies of the critical regions of Greece, which receive Turkish interference, as a result of which they cannot broadcast on their legal frequency and are targeted by the independent authorities.

“Next week a provision is passed in Parliament, which I hope will be supported by all parties, which will not only allow any radio station to declare a secondary position to escape from Turkey, but will also suspend all fines imposed on frequencies in Euros , Eastern Aegean islands and North Corfu”.

“It is important that all Greek radio stations feel free to broadcast where they want and how they want legally in the border areas,” continued the Deputy Minister of Digital Governance.

“We will exceed 33% in the European elections”

Finally, Konstantinos Kyranakis was asked about yesterday’s MRB poll and its findings, commenting: “The threshold of 33% is absolutely possible, which New Democracy will surpass.

The messages from Greeks from Northern Greece that I receive during my tours in Kavala, Drama and Serres are encouraging. Of course we have made mistakes, but the Greek people feel a stability in the country and this is exactly what must be continued by the government. In any case, this is not the time for experimentation”, concluded Mr. Kyranakis.
