Raids continue in Germany against cores close to Hamas. This time in four places in the city of Duisburg in North Rhine-Westphalia against members of the group Palestine Solidarity Duisburg, which allegedly supports the terrorist activity of Hamas on German soil. According to information from Bild, the raids took place at 06:00 am. in three apartment buildings near the city’s university.

At the same time today Thursday, the group was labeled “banned” by the German Ministry of the Interior. Her assets were seized and documents and other items allegedly documenting her extremist activity were confiscated.

Ostensibly “solidarity with Palestine”

In his statements, the Christian Democrat of the State Attorney General Herbert Royle said that this ban “comes at the right time, sending the right message.” In many cases, as he points out, “the alleged solidarity towards Palestine hides nothing but hatred towards the Jews, as is the case with the organization which was banned today”.

According to German media, the network in question is an organization that appears as a “solidarity club” for the Palestinians and seeks “the liberation of Palestine and the return to the pre-1947 borders, before the establishment of the state of Israel.”

An additional crucial element that ultimately led to its ban is also the explicit and not hidden indication of solidarity with all forms of “Palestinian resistance”, which includes according to FAZ, and the “armed struggle of the terrorist organization Hamas against Israel” .

As Bild also reports, this particular organization also had connections with the radicalized pro-Palestinian network Samidoun, which was also banned in Germany in November 2023.
