“Kyriakos Mitsotakis has chosen to target with lies once again the president of SYRIZA-PS, Stefanos Kasselakis”, Koumoundourou states in its announcement
For targeting Stefanos Kasselakis with lies, accuses SYRIZA the prime minister on the occasion of his interview with ERT, while criticizing him for announcing now that he will do what he has not done in the five years he has been in power.
In addition, SYRIZA claims that the prime minister refuses a debate with Mr. Kasselakis due to “cowardice”, while also accusing him of “populism” in national matters.
The SYRIZA announcement in detail:
“In an interview with questions that should be taught in journalism schools as a model of avoidance and with answers that moved and sometimes exceeded the limits of fake news, Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the one hand chose to target with lies once again the president of SYRIZA-PS , Stefanos Kasselakis, and on the other hand he tried to justify his cowardice for the fact that he refuses a televised confrontation with him by talking about alleged “confrontations that only take place in the Parliament”.
An interview where the content and meaning of the answers given were identical: “five years we didn’t catch up, but we WILL”.
“We WILL fix the public health system. We WILL crush accuracy. We WILL strengthen public Education. WE WILL raise wages”. The only thing he seems to have forgotten is “WE WILL build you bridges even if you don’t have rivers”. And in the issue of North Macedonia, the hypocrisy of Mr. Mitsotakis exceeded all precedents. How is it that internationally he invokes the Agreement of Does Prespa at the same time consider her “problematic” internally?
Enough with populism on national issues. Foreign policy is serious business and not suitable for internal, pre-election consumption.
We should also inform Mr. Mitsotakis that the president of SYRIZA has already proven how much he knows about business, unlike him. Who, even though he was destined to be prime minister since he was born, has the audacity today to ask for even more time and patience from the citizens in order to gain “experience”.
Regarding the tax reform law proposal and the ENFIA tabled by SYRIZA-PS, let’s say it one more time in case they consolidate it in Maximos: it is fully costed and applicable. And no, Mr. Kottaridis, we never said that benefits must be cut in order to be implemented.
PS The New Democracy Press Office did its job well. Apparently, Mr. Zoulas returned refreshed from his trip to Sweden where he watched Eurovision. Was this trip really paid for by him?”
