“Just one day before the Parliament is closed in view of the European elections, the case file on the crime of Tempe has finally arrived”, says SYRIZA-PS
SYRIZA-PS repeats its commitment to request the establishment of a Pre-Inquiry Committee, as soon as the Parliament reopens, on the occasion of the transmission to the Parliament of the case file on the “crime of Tempe” and asks the government if this time it will accept.
The criminal file concerns: former Minister of Health Athanassios Pleuris, former Deputy Minister of Transport Michalis Papadopoulos, former Deputy Minister of Health Zoi Raptis and former Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister Christos Triandopoulos. This is the case file that had been filed by the Prosecutor of Larisa and was withdrawn after an appeal by relatives of the victims for the “tampering” of the area where the fatal collision of the trains took place.
Unleashing his arrows against the prime minister, he claims: “Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the ND are again facing the nightmare they are trying to exorcise by banning even the mention of the word ‘Tempe’ in the media”.
He assures that “SYRIZA – PS will fight to bring to justice those who ordered the tampering of the evidence and the cover-up of the crime. We inform Mr. Mitsotakis that his nightmare – unfortunately, this is how he sees the search for the truth and the rendering of Justice – will be continued”.
In closing, he asks: “As we have already declared and committed, we will submit a proposal for the establishment of a pre-investigation committee as soon as the Parliament reopens. Will the ND accept it this time? The masks are falling Mr. Mitsotakis, sooner or later the truth will shine!”.
