There was a previous post by Stefanos Kasselakis, where “how the cover-up of Tempe was planned” is presented in detail
Her reaction was fierce New Republic after the announcement of the president of SYRIZA, Stefanou Kasselakiswhere he speaks again about the Tempe tragedy, accusing the government of a “cover-up”.
Watch with me the revelation of how the Tempe cover-up was planned.
The accident happened at dawn on March 1st. March 3rd the secret meeting for the batch. Two days later!
Christos Triandopoulos was present at the secret meeting. Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister.
Question: Did you transfer or… pic.twitter.com/DaagWRTnc9— Stefanos Kasselakis – Stefanos Kasselakis (@skasselakis) May 29, 2024
“The attempt to use the Tempe tragedy as a tool for small party gains is the most vulgar and insulting thing anyone can do for the families of the victims,” says Piraeus in its statement.
“Unfortunately, the Official Opposition has accustomed us to this strategy, in which it unfortunately bets its change before the elections”, while he adds that “if Mr. Kasselakis bothered to look at the publications of the disputed days, he would see that the government echelon who visited the area, the meetings that took place and the work of removing the wagons and restoring the field that took place were announced from the first moment.”
Piraeus’ announcement in detail:
Trying to instrumentalize the Tempe tragedy for petty partisan gains is the most vulgar and insulting thing anyone can do to the families of the victims. Unfortunately, the Official Opposition has accustomed us to this strategy, in which it unfortunately bets its change before the elections.
Mr. Kasselakis goes so far as to talk about alleged secret meetings that led to secret decisions on “bazoma”, in order to methodize the “cover-up”!
Of course, if Mr. Kasselakis took the trouble to refer to the publications of the days in question, he would have seen that the government echelon that visited the area, the meetings that took place and the work of removing the wagons and restoring the field that took place were announced by at the first moment. They were made public by Mr. Triandopoulos himself with his statements, by the Fire Department and EL.AS. with announcements from the Government itself centrally (government sources).
Indicative:
On March 1, 2023, in an announcement by the Fire Brigade (with the subject “continuation of the emergency information on the railway accident with fire, at the entrance to the valley of Tempe, by the Press Representatives P.S. & EL.AS.”), it is mentioned between others: “At this moment with the help of the crane vehicles the first train of the second carriage is being raised so that the rescue teams can attempt the entire width of the second carriage.
Also, an effort is being made by other crane-carrying vehicles in order to remove the two engines of the commercial train from the scene, in order to facilitate the search and extrication work, but also to free the railway line*”.
On March 3, 2023, in a publication posted on APE and on all sites, Mr. Triandopoulos stated:
“The State – from the first moment – immediately and on a large scale mobilizing every possible means was on the scene. In this context, a government echelon is in the region, it is in Larissa in collaboration with the Region of Thessaly for the coordination, cooperation and monitoring of all actions, all actions that followed the tragic accident”.
In the same publications (3/3/2023) it is specifically mentioned:
“According to government sources, in the context of close cooperation and coordination, all the prescribed procedures concerning the completion of investigations, the identification of the victims, the notification of relatives, the monitoring of health are proceeding at a rapid pace – in accordance with the relevant protocols of the hospitalized, the removal of the trains, the restoration of the field and any other energy and action related to the tragic accident, always with respect for the victims, their relatives and the society”.
As has been confirmed both by the announcements of the Fire Brigade and the Greek Police, as well as by the testimonies of firefighters who have seen the light of day, all actions in the field were made following relevant decisions of the service agents who completed a very demanding task.
It is a shame that some who see human suffering as an object of campaign and its instrumentalization as an opportunity for petty political gain, reach this point of grave-digging! We leave them to the judgment of the citizens and we will continue to respond with evidence to their wretchedness and vulgarity, restoring the truth!
