On the threshold of the electoral process of June 9, for the future of Europe and with the consequences of successive crises active, the business world looks with interest to the “next day” and prepares its interventions.

This is noted in a statement by the Central Union of Chambers, which mentions the ten thematic areas for which the business world wants to open a dialogue between politics and economy.

As mentioned, the new balance of power that will be formed in the European Parliament, combined with the fact that small and medium-sized enterprises employ two out of three workers and create 85% of all new jobs in the EU, form the basis of the dialogue on the following following topics:

  1. Commitment to a stable tax system for at least 10 years to facilitate investment
  2. Common European entrepreneurship development policies, with measurable results
  3. Programs for integration of new technologies in business
  4. Support for small and medium enterprises
  5. Concern for the reduction of regional disparities
  6. Ensuring the functioning of competition – substantial penalties for concerted practices
  7. New Recovery and Resilience Fund for the development of European economies and businesses
  8. Support for qualitative business development (increasing participation of women, specialized jobs, etc.)
  9. Simplifying procedures for EU businesses
  10. Tightening of controls for the receipt and utilization of European financing in companies.
