More than 155,000 is as of today at noon the number of files with the postal vote that have arrived via courier at the postal vote sorting center at the Peristeri exhibition center.

Of these, approximately 39,300 come from Greek voters abroad. The Ministry of the Interior estimates that out of a total of 202,000 registered voters, around 180,000 have voted by mail.

The rest as well as those whose envelope does not arrive in Peristeri on time (ie before 5 pm on Saturday) will receive on Saturday evening a sms on their phone from the Home Office informing them that they will be able to vote at their polling station after 11:00 on Sunday morning.
