“Generalities and speculations do not offer anything,” said the SYRIZA MEP candidate
With today’s statements to MEGA, the SYRIZA MEP candidate, George Tsipras kept his “distance” from the close associate of Stefanos Kasselakis, Thanasis Oikonomou, for what he hinted at about “transactions” by Koumoundouros officials regarding the filing of the whereabouts of Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
“If he has something to say, something concrete to say, let him say it. Generalities and conjectures don’t do anything, although there has been discussion before about checking statements from where you are related. Transactions are on a different level,” Mr. Tsipras pointed out, commenting on the Economist’s statement, expressing reservations about whether a proper job was done in the control of “where do you belong” and under the rule of Alexis Tsipras.
“His intervention at this particular moment is unfortunate. From time to time there have been committees that have not done their job well” added Mr. Tsipras who, when asked if this applies to the Varemenos committee, replied “I don’t know if it did its job correctly for the various issues and not only for Mr. Mitsotakis”.
“Everything was done right under Tsipras? Not everything was done correctly” concluded George Tsipras in his position on the relevant debate.
