At the scene he was welcomed by the Deputy Minister of National Economy Nikos Papathanasis, the mayor of Kifissia and several voters.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis exercised his right to vote at the 1st High School of Kifissia.
Mr. Mitsotakis was awaited at the polling center by the Deputy Minister of National Economy Nikos Papathanasis, the mayor of Kifissia and several voters.
“With the right” commented the Prime Minister with humor shortly before dropping the envelope into the ballot box.
Immediately after, Mr. Mitsotakis declared: “We are voting for a strong Greece in a strong Europe. Elections are a celebration of Democracy and the more participation we have, the more we strengthen our own Democracy. The European elections have their own special significance, in the next five years important decisions will be made in Europe and it is important to have a strong Greek voice, a strong Greek representation in the European Parliament, so that Greece can claim as much as we can from Europe.
Beyond that, we respect and honor the citizens who come to this beautiful, open, democratic process to offer their own verdict.”
