SYRIZA harshly criticized Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the occasion of the interview he gave to the international news agency Bloomberg.

The official opposition party emphasizes in its statement that “despite three days have already passed since the European elections, which dented the ND’s electoral percentages, its leader, Mr. Mitsotakis, still behaves as if he does not nothing has happened.”

In this context, Mr. Mitsotakis stated that he will seek to continue the “reforms” included in his program, i.e. the further dismantling of public Health and Education, while he found that his government has done well, despite losing 13 percentage points within just one year.

With regard to the resources of the Recovery Fund, for which Mr. Mitsotakis declared that he was completely satisfied with the way in which his government has managed them, we have to admit that there are others who agree with him. And these are all the big-name friends of the government, who have taken the lion’s share, leaving, literally, crumbs for small and medium enterprises. Beyond that, only Mr. Mitsotakis has the audacity to claim that he is happy with the funds of the Fund concerning Health. What country does he live in, really?
Finally, we understand why Mr. Mitsotakis is not worried by the rise of the extreme Right. And this is because the extreme right in our country either resides within his party or is a satellite of it.
