The “Tsipras guards” struck again and showed their “teeth” during yesterday’s meeting of the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA.

With the resounding “no” to the proposal of Stefanos Kasselakis, they made it clear that the next period until the party’s statutory conference will be very critical and that the president will no longer stay in the dark.

It was a message ahead of tomorrow’s crucial meeting of the Central Committee where everyone expects Stefanos Kasselakis to largely open his cards mainly in relation to the party’s strategy and the center-left.

Indicative of the climate is that after the end of the meeting there was a disagreement even about whether a vote was held on the proposal of Stefanos Kasselakis.

Seven members of the Political Secretariat they disagreed and voted against the president’s proposal.

It’s about them Olga Gerovasili, Kostas Zachariadis, Thanasis Theocharopoulos, Zoe Karkoulias, Katerina Notopoulou, Yannis Ragousis and Eleni Symeonidou.

The seven did not agree mainly regarding the evaluation of the election result made by the president.

He stated that “despite the upheavals that followed Alexis Tsipras’s decision to open the succession procedures, the double split and the period of introversion, SYRIZA-PS denied those who had finished him a short time ago.

The attacks of the ND, its friendly media, and almost all of the other parties against SYRIZA-PS fell on deaf ears.”

The specific officials were disturbed by the fact that he did not make any self-criticism for the fact that there was no collective before the elections and for the fact that the bodies never met.

THE Thanassis Theocharopouloss allegedly told him that instead of discussing all post-election issues, he posted about “black money”, called Alexis Tsipras an “underminer” and closed Avgi.

The reference to Alexis Tsipras has hurt the people of SYRIZA and must be withdrawnKostas Zachariadis is reported to have said.

THE Olga Gerovasili addressing the president of SYRIZA, she told him that “and we were directly elected by the party members to the organs. And of course unmediated by the Greek citizens, as MPs».

Criticism of Stefanos Kasselakis was allegedly made by other members of the body who are closer to him, including Pavlos Polakis, referring to his over-promotion and the damage he did to the party in the run-up to the elections.

Those around Mr. Kasselakis speak of a meeting that was held in a “fertile and productive climate without tensions” without any connection to the past.

Stefanos Kasselakis described her as productive and kind.

Insisting on the hegemony of the party, he stated that “SYRIZA must be the driving and leading force for the creation of a progressive electoral alliance against the Mitsotakis government.

Its leader, as the leader of the official opposition and the largest party in the area, must lead this effort of reconciliation. With these facts and having the ideological and political arsenal and the programmatic and executive potential to achieve it, SYRIZA-P.S. comes forward in this process».

Despite the harsh criticism, the meeting took place in mild tones without tensions.

Stefanos Kasselakis appears before tomorrow’s Central Committee ready to pour “water into his wine”.

It is no coincidence that in his second appeal he asked “to go united in all matters” while the Political Secretariat will meet again next week on an organizational basis, but also at the end of July.
