As “another big deception” by the government, he characterizes SYRIZA the increase in VAT to the service provider coffee.

In his announcement, he speaks of “a small story about yet another big deception by the Mitsotakis government…”, mentioning in particular that the prime minister assures a few weeks earlier that for the VAT on coffee he would take seriously the increase in the international price to act the “musts” and how finally “his government increases the VAT on served coffee from 13% to 24%, forgetting the rise in the price of coffee and the “musts””.

He then emphasizes that “the president of SYRIZA-PS, Stefanos Kasselakis, criticizes the government’s decision and overall the Mitsotakis government’s insistence on the high VAT rates, which bring households to their knees”, but “the press representative of the ND, N. Romanos, accuses Stefanos Kasselakis that he doesn’t know about the VAT”, while “the catering people are publicly freaking out, having made the mistake of believing the ND’s pre-election promises, in 2019 and 2023, that it will reduce the VAT in all catering to 13% and in the second year to 11%”.

Finally, he mentions that “in some media, the one-act play “it’s not an increase, it’s a return to normality of SYRIZA” is circulating” and comments that “ultimately, the increase in the price of the served coffee must also be to blame for the Paraskevopoulos law…”.
