The MP of SYRIZA-PS, Pavlos Polakis, gives an answer to the Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, regarding the lawsuit filed against him.

In the announcement of SYRIZA-PS, Mr. Polakis states: “As I learned yesterday through his related post, Mr. Georgiadis filed a lawsuit against me, while as he claims a lawsuit will follow.

As he characteristically wrote in his post, ‘I hope he doesn’t ask to hide behind parliamentary immunity’. To continue threatening everyone by writing: ‘I will now file a new lawsuit and lawsuit every time someone questions my moral constitution‘”.

Next, he replies to Mr. Georgiadis by pointing out:

“First, it is others who are hiding behind their Parliamentary immunity, not me, who should have the parliamentary record of requests to waive my immunity.

Secondly, your moral constitution Adoni Georgiadis is not questioned by anyone who writes something you don’t like, it is questioned by your friend Kolobani who with a ghost company went to get 737,201 Euros from the Ministry of Development with you as Minister, it is questioned by your associates Poulis and Theofilatou who are on trial for the 22 illegal recruitments at KEELPNO which damaged the Greek State by 250,000 Euros (there is also another trial for 74 illegal recruitments), it is questioned by the strange change of attitude of the EODY which, when you became a minister, changed its decision Board of Directors so as not to attend the trial in order to defend the interest of the organization, it is finally questioned by the fact that you have appointed A. Theofilatou as a substitute employee and S. Poulis as a special advisor, i.e. two defendants for acts of criminal disloyalty. After all, if there had not been two electoral contests in 2015, you would have been accused of criminal disloyalty and huge damage to the public for the Ministerial Decisions on the pricing of medicines that you had signed in 2013-2014, as well as for the appointments of your successors as employees of KEELPNO”.

He then attributes to Mr. Georgiadis that “the organized effort that began in 2019, with the continuous lawsuits and lawsuits against me and the endless waivers of immunity that come to the Parliament for me, is aimed at me to stop bothering”.

In closing, he assures that “both I and the Transparency sector of SYRIZA-PS are not going to stop the effort, on the contrary, we will continue with even greater determination“.
