Today’s meeting of the Central Organizing Committee of the Conference on SYRIZAas, as reported by SKAI’s main bulletin and Antonis Anzoletos, there was a new disagreement and conflict between Olga Gerovassilis and other party officials on the occasion of the date of the Congress.

According to information, Olga Gerovasili and other officials raised an issue with the date of the SYRIZA congress, which coincides with the PASOK elections, causing the reaction of Stefanou Kasselakiswho said – for the umpteenth time – that anyone who disagrees with him can leave.

The statement of the president of SYRIZA caused reactions, which led to the withdrawal from the party meeting of eight executives.

According to information, Mrs. Gerovasilis and Mr. Famellos initially raised the issue of the date, saying that it is unfair to hold it on the same day as the conference PASOK.

Mr. Ragousis referred to the suggestions of changes he is preparing for the statute, while other executives told the SYRIZA president to hold the conference two weeks later.

At this point, always according to information, Stefanos Kasselakis is reported to have said that “anyone who does not agree with me, should get up and leave”.

The president’s admonition caused a lot of backlash and some called for him to retract. Then the eight executives who had signed the previous week’s text left. Among them were Mrs. Gerovasilis, Mr. Flambouraris, Mr. Ragousis, Mr. Theocharopoulos and Mr. Zachariadis.
