This happened at yesterday’s meeting of the Central Organizing Committee of the Conference, when the thermometer rose vertically. There are two critical issues at the moment for the internal opposition: to find out what changes the president is preparing to the Statute, but also to ensure that the date of the conference does not coincide with the PASOK elections.

The other event that marked Koumoundourou in the last few days was the departure of Yiannis Dragasakis from SYRIZA. From the reaction at the leadership level, it becomes clear that they are determined to follow the “Scottish shower” tactic towards the persons who do not agree with the president’s choices. Stefanos Kasselakis put on a very unifying face at the last meeting of the Political Secretariat, throwing “water and salt” into what has been said. He even got back the black funds largely nullifying himself. He took a completely different path in the debate held at the CET on Tuesday. It is characteristic that he chose to connect online and attack the members of the “Tsipras guard” based on what had been conveyed to him. What did it make clear? How he will not raise a “fly on his sword” from anyone in relation to the choices he makes. The “eight” showed the same with their departure. According to many, it was a “bell” for what may follow even in the summer.

Today’s meeting of the parliamentary group will be pivotal, as several of the “36” are waiting in the “corner” of the president of SYRIZA not only for the events of the last few days, but for the fact that in the previous meeting, shortly after the European elections, he had speak only himself.
