Fierce was the criticism launched by Konstantinos Tasoulas against Pavlos Polakis, for the disparaging comments against an associate of Adonis Georgiadis with the Speaker of the Parliament speaking of “filth” while imposing on him the penalty of inappropriate behavior which includes the cut of 1/2 of the MP’s monthly compensation.

“We had yet another disgusting unacceptable and disgusting case of unacceptable behavior by a colleague towards a woman who was doing her job in a committee of the Parliament, who received a barrage of abusive behavior from Polakis. He was forced to listen in a hideous and abusive style, “don’t turn your face, madam, you have a permanent twist of your face” and various interpretations of her physiognomy,” said Mr. Tasoulas.

“No matter how much ambition is contained in being the president of the Parliament at such times, I am ashamed to be forced to deal with such colleagues who make me feel such shame for parliamentarism as represented by persons like Polakis” he added.

“I will not allow him vulgar creature of attention through insults to insult the qualities of us all. We will not allow Polakis to drag us into his mud. Let him enjoy the mud alone” said the president of the Parliament.
