“Mr. Mitsotakis sat in the prime minister’s chair for five years and said: “as long as the people remember Tsipras, I am not going to fall”. Where was his hegemony based? To the tolerance of the Greek people after the experience of the Tsipras-Kammenos government. He didn’t do anything. Only management and patches. Zero vision for development, public health, public education” commented the President of PASOK-Movement of Change, Nikos Androulakis, on the actions of the government while speaking to officials in Kastoria.

“I am saddened because I hear some people say that they are “tired” of wiretapping, even Tempi. The masters of New Democracy get “tired” easily. Mr. Androulakis reviewed all the steps forward made by the faction in the last two and a half years, calling on citizens to question whether the course of political autonomy, the first place in two prefectures and the second place in 22 constituencies were made with the wind.

“New Democracy, SYRIZA and domestic oligarchy had predicted that PASOK would be the party of cooperation. One with one, one with the other, based on the electoral situation and correlations. Was the wind of our endeavour? You will evaluate it yourself. We have been shown more by the media since the day of the European elections and after, than in the previous two and a half years. As soon as I appeared as a protagonist in the political scene, I became the victim of an organized parastate in one of the biggest scandals of the post-colonial period. Was the wind fair? I want you to think about how we were treated in all our strategic choices. Was “neither Tsipras, nor Mitsotakis” a trick? It was reality. What did I say to the Greek people? One was judged and it doesn’t and the other one also doesn’t, get the hang of it. Were we justified, yes or no?he wondered

“The biggest win of 13% is that it is completely owned by you. You are the protagonists of 13%, which could be much more. But, if the image of the party is what it was on the night of the European elections, obviously everyone understands why PASOK did not go further. There is no ceiling to our effort, no matter how much some want to impose the narrative of defeat. In two and a half years, PASOK achieved what it had not achieved in the previous ten years. As much as some want to belittle them on the altar of their ambition. With this dowry we will continue the effort and I am sure that the people of the center-left and those who voted for New Democracy will understand that a party that rises against the system has something good to offer” emphasized the President of PASOK-Movement for Change, referring to the internal party process.
