The level of cooperation between Greece and Germany was described as “excellent” by Mr Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Gerapetritiss, after his meeting in Thessaloniki with the Vice Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, Robert Hambeck.

The meeting took place at Germany’s stand at the 88th TIF, where it is an honored country and as Mr. Gerapetritis said this “exactly proves the excellent bilateral relations we have with the Federal Republic of Germany”.

He added that the two countries share principles, which have to do with adherence to international law, with the development of the green economy, with the emphasis on new technologies.

“We have an excellent level of cooperation with Germany, I had the opportunity to confirm this with Vice-Chancellor Habeck. We discussed the major issues of our bilateral relations concerning energy, economy, trade, tourism. There is a lot of room for further development of relations”, he stressed.

He underlined that “Greece will continue to be a pillar of security and stability, a pillar that encourages investment, development”, while pointing out that “we are working with Europe, the European Union for a Europe of the people, a Europe of prosperity”
